Help me find Augustine quote

“You are glorified in the assembly of your Holy Ones, for in crowning their merits you are crowning your own gifts.”

This is quoted in the Catechism above CCC 2006, but the source is pretty obscure - St. Augustine, En. in Ps. 102.

Could anyone help me locate this online?

It’s Psalm 103 here. It doesn’t have that exact quote in this rendition, but that is what St. Augustine says in Paragraph 6. God bless.

I agree with Luke65; it is an allusion to (not a direct quote from) St. Augustine’s Exposition on Psalm 103, paragraph 6 (otherwise known as Enarratio in Psalmum 102, caput 7).

It is a direct quote from the Roman Missal, Prefatio I de Sanctis (Eucharistic Prayer Preface I for Holy Men and Holy Women).
