I remember reading or watching or hearing a story that I now want to share, but I don’t remember enough details to find it.
I think it was from an Orthodox source. I think it was Russian, maybe Alaskan. I’m not sure.
The story was about a man who lived very far from a church and had no access to the sacraments. He kept his prayers and on his deathbed, a priest came and heard his confession. I don’t remember the moral of the story, but I think it was about God providing when we keep the faith.
