Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.

Prayer for Faith
Lord, I believe:
I wish to believe in Thee.
Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved,
and let it penetrate my thought,
my way of judging Divine things and human things.
Lord, let my faith be joyful
and give peace and gladness to my spirit,
and dispose it for prayer with God
and conversation with men,
so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession
may shine forth in sacred and secular conversation
Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume
to be based on the experience of my thought and of my
feeling;
but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit,
and not have any better guarantee than in docility to
Tradition
and to the authority of the magisterium of the Holy Church.
Amen

Lord Jesus please help this young woman to repent of her abortion, and to accept Your call to live a good Catholic life. Please comfort her bereaved mother whose grandchild she killed and whose heart she has broken.

I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for you, for Katherine, and for your grandchild, that our Lord’s infinite Mercy will be poured out on you and may His grace fill you and sustain you.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and for those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world…

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen. :crossrc:

Prayer for Aborted Babies

Heavenly Father,
Thou hast given us the gift of freedom
to love and to follow in Thy ways and commands.
Some parents choose to abuse this freedom
by destroying the gift of life
which Thou hast given to their offspring.
Please forgive those who destroy human life
by aborting their unborn babies.
Give these unborn children the opportunity
to enjoy Thee for all eternity,
if it according to Thy ordinance.
Assist me in being one in solidarity with Thy little ones
by taking to heart the words of Thy Son,
“whatever you did for one of these least brothers of Mine,
you did for Me.” (Mt. 25:40)
Therefore, allow me today, Father,
to adopt spiritually an unborn child
and to offer my prayers, works,
joys and sufferings for that little one,
so that child will be able to be born and live
for Thy greater honor and glory.
We pray this in Jesus’ name,
in union with the Holy Spirit one God forever and ever.

Amen.

This is beautiful Teresa. Thank you for sharing it.

While I have not yet spoken with my daughter, I know that I am called to love her, regardless. She is my only child and I am, really, her only immediate family.

It is difficult to think of the irony of sharing Christ’s birthday with her, under the circumstances. I will, though, and will be compassionate.

Today, while praying and gazing upon the statue of Our Blessed Mother, Mary I found myself asking what she would do. I do not believe that she would turn away and, as a mother, I cannot either. I beg her to ask her merciful son to shower Graces upon us this season and help me to be the compassionate and kind mother that I imagine God desires.

Please, please, if you have read this far, storm heaven with prayers for these young women, help people to find their voices and speak out against these horrors, support your local maternity homes and pregnancy centers, and pray for the souls of the unborn children and for healing for their mothers.

May you all have a blessed and peaceful Christmas,
Maggie

St. Gianna Molla, please pray for women and girls considering abortion. Please pray that they find information and that they know they are carrying innocent human beings who will be wanted and cared for. Amen.

Lord, please guide these women and girls to choose life, and guide those around them to support the choice of life. Amen.

Maggie,
Your prayers are heard and I fully believe that they have helped open the heart of a young woman somewhere. We have to believe in the power of prayer.

Many prayers for you and your daughter this Christmas.
