HELP! My 21 daughter wants an abortion

Praying that your daughter has a change of heart when she sees that new little person and hears that little person’s heartbeat when she has her ultrasound. A priest once said if only there was a window to the womb then there would be no abortions. Praying for you also that God gives you the words to guide your daughter to make the right decision. God bless

Lord please open the heart and mind of this pregnant woman that she will be moved by You to follow Your will.Lord we ask Your healing upon this situation.In Jesus name Amen

Father, please guide this poor child of Yours as she struggles with being pregnant. Show her Your love and that this is not the way out of her difficult time.

I have just come back from an ultrasound scan on my 10 week gestation unborn grandchild and have a photo on my mantlepeice.My former foster daughter (15yrs of age) gave birth 6 weeks early to a baby daughter 4lb 15oz and baby is thriving,so is she at being a mother! My heart goes out to you that your daughter says she wants an abortion.You are both in my prayers that she will have a change of heart and be guided by God and you will know how to help your daughter.Please let us know how things go?

let her know that you love her and that the baby inside of her is already alive… that there’s always the possibility of giving up the baby for adoption…

Explain to her all the downsides of having the abortion including the mental trauma. Regret for what she did, everytime she hears something about abortion on the news she will know first hand why it is so wrong. Not to mention having to have to tell that to a future husband if they can’t have a family.

Be supportive to her if she chooses to have the baby and give it up for adoption. However, we are not to be doormats and explain to her you will always be part of her life. However, you need to be true to your beliefs and perhaps can not have someone who makes those choices living under your roof (if she lives with you).

Also, explain too her that if she has the abortion, in the back of her mind she will forever, suspect you are judging her for that. No matter how much God puts forgiveness in your heart, she might not forgive herslef.

Thank you for your prayers. God has certainly been active here, although her heart has not changed. Through the Holy Spirit I have found words that I did not know I had and the courage to share them with Love. I have learned that my capacity for love is greater than I knew. None of these can change another person’s free will, however, and so far, her heart has not yet softened.

She had her ultrasound today and is further along than she realized, I suspect around 16 weeks, but they can’t tell me. She left immediately after, without even speaking to the counselor. I plan to see her tonight and give her more detailed information and Truth and beg her to let this child live.

I am praying continually and asking for your continued prayer support. Please ask God to continue to guide my words and actions and to open her heart. Every day that this child is alive is a day of Hope.

Dear Lord,

for the precious child that isn’t born.

As you say, others’ free will is inviolable, but your wonderful heart and your heartfelt prayer-poem surely is that cry of the poor that pierces the clouds.

Thank you all for the wonderful prayer support, so many are praying! at clinics and prayer groups and homes. The compassion and faith is humbling.

My daughter was exhausted after work and called instead of coming over.With counseling, the ultrasound then a four hour shift, I’m not surprised. She is so frightened and alone right now. I brought her to a very good Catholic counselor yesterday morning, one she worked with before. We’ve been the Life Center twice, though last time she ran out without talking to the counselor after the ultrasound. I spoke to her briefly and it seemed as though a part of her had just shut down. She seemed to be further from God than ever. My belief is that the only thing that has saved this baby so far is her lack of money, but her friends are trying to ‘help’ her. I believe that she is far enough along that she would be looking at a D & E procedure at this stage. The cost, I believe, is significantly more. Since she left so quickly I am not sure that she knows this yet.

This beautiful young addict/alcoholic who found the courage and strength to get clean & sober at 18 has been sober for 2.5 years. I’ve even talked with her about how this will jeopardize her recovery. So many young girls turn to drugs and alcohol to cover the pain of abortions and encouraged her to go back to meetings, just for support.

We’ve told her that we are here for her if she chooses to raises this child, if she chooses to put it up for adoption and that I cannot support her if she chooses to kill this child. Our relationship will change and I will not longer be the one to call when the car breaks down or she needs rent money. I will have someone else help her small college fund. I no longer want to be this great a part of her life, if it doesn’t include m grandchild. It is so complicated rejecting the sin and loving the sinner! She’s my only child and I’m her only family.

As time goes in, it is harder to Love as I become closer to panic. God help me find the compassion, understanding and help me to let go of myself and my desires enough to be His instrument and be completely open to His desire and His will for us all.

I’ve written a letter to my first grandchild, this poor precious baby and am praying constantly and ever remind myself to place my grandchild in His capable hands.

God has been moving in our lives these past days and I am deeply grateful to all of you for your prayers.

I pray that each day that baby lives is a day of hope.
