Hi All! 👋

I am reading an introduction to ‘The Imitation of Christ’ which describes Thomas a Kempis as a canon regular in the monestary of Mt. St. Agnes.

I was wondering what it means to be a canon regular?

I found this on New Advent.Org but couldn’t make sense of it!:
