Hi folks ~ can you please proffer you insight into this translation. I am debating on purchasing the following Bible version to add to my collection.

“Tyndale NLT Life Application Study Bible, Third Edition, Large Print (LeatherLike, Teal Blue, Red Letter) – New Living Translation Bible, Large Print Study Bible for Enhanced Readability“

It is an evangelical translation (rather than Catholic). The third edition did receive awards. If you are Catholic then a Catholic version of Bible would be preferred so that the notes are in keeping with the Catholic faith as much as possible.
