Hello Everyone,

I am sorry to pray for myself because it seems selfish but I am loosing hope and faith. I am at my wits end. My will is leaving my body. Please pray that God sees it fit to give me guidance and heal me in all facets of my life. I am so lost lonely and afraid. Please pray for me.

Jesus please be with Logan in these struggles. Your loneliness when no one seemed to be really listening to Your message and genuinely understanding the depth of Your love, led You to tears, and even in Your worst moment to feel abandoned by the Father, for You cried out, “My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me”. Yet You knew that it wasn’t so, and You trusted Your spirit to the Father.

Please help Logan to experience Your love and to trust in You even in these overwhelming times.
 
I’m lonely and afraid too.
DHS has destroyed my family.
My son is in foster care.
My wife is forced to stay in a group home,
and I am all alone.
I will pray for you!!!

As hard as it may sound, know that the solution to loneliness is solitude. Nothing in the world so resembles God as silence…take walks in nature…surrender your will to God, pray and read the bible or a devotional (I like The Imitation of Christ)…focus on the passion of Christ and relate it to your situation. We all undergo tribulation…what you must do is find the courage to be patient and allow the pain to guide you to the answers you seek…seek and you WILL find. Allow the thorns that pierce your mind to lift your eyes to the heavens…

You may be trying too hard to fix it yourself or you may not be fully surrendered to God’s will instead how and when your will will be achieved. Do you have a spiritual director? If not a priest, many churches have lay stephen ministers OR you can look into a support group like Alanon…While solitude is important sometimes it also helps to be able to empty your head to other people and recognize that your situation is common to many people.
