My husband and I have been separated and cannot seem to get on the same page! Divorce proceedings began last year when my husband began dating an old high school girlfriend. A few months ago we put the divorce on hold when we agreed to try to reconcile. Unfortunately that only lasted a few weeks for him. He cannot seem to break all ties with the girlfriend. We are still talking and the divorce proceedings are still stalled but the girlfriend is still around also. We have both made bad choices but the adultery is so damaging, I don’t know what to do. I have been praying and fasting and I know that the best thing for us and our 4 children is to reconcile but I need HELP! I need strength and so many prayers! I feel so lost and alone! Please pray for the healing of our hearts for one another and a stronger love that will endure these attacks against us and our family. God bless you all and thank you for the prayers and support!!!

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen :signofcross:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen :signofcross:

Lord Jesus (Lil Moes) family needs Your help today. They need Your peace and tranquility, an end to discord. Give them strength and compassion to understand each other, wisdom and love to help each other, and the trust and patience they need to live peacefully together. Grant them that, through the intercession of Your mother, Mary, and St. Joseph, their family too may become a holy family, a family that works together as one, a family that embraces peace and love, a family whose members are dedicated to each other and to You.
Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou O prince of the Heavenly Hosts,
by the Power of God,
cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits that prowl throughout the world,
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Prayer to Restore a Marriage

Heavenly Father, Lil Moe’s marriage is in trouble. Please make changes in my spouse’s heart. Make us compatible again, and bring us closer together. Fill us with your love and give us the strength to love each other, care for each other, and fulfill your destiny for us.

Show us the harm caused by careless words, and the pain caused by emotional distance. Bring us together, as we once were. Show us how to love one another again.

Heal the division between us. Make us one again.

In your name I pray, Amen.

I’m so sorry to hear you are struggling in this troubled marriage. I will pray that there be reconciliation and your husband will drop all ties with the girlfriend. May your marriage begin the healing process as your work towards a mutually respectful, loving, caring and Christ Centered marriage.

Mary.

My prayers are with you, but as long as your husband continues to include this girlfriend in his life, I’d not have much hope if I were you that this marriage can be fixed. He might come back–but are you willing to be in a perpetual threesome—because he sounds like he’d like to have his cake and eat it too. Myself, I couldn’t deal with that–just saying. You may need to lay down the law with him and if he runs to the girlfriend begin divorce and annulment proceedings so you can get on with your life.

Praying today for everyone involved in this sad situation. God bless :console:

Dear Jesus,

I humbly implore you to grant your special graces to our family. May our home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg you, dear Jesus, to rpotect and bless all of us, absent and present, living and dead.

O Mary,

Loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,

holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which he granted to you, to watch over our home at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so that with Mary and with you, Heaven may find our family unbroken in the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Amen.

You, and they, have my prayers. Go easy on the fasting when you’re stressed.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
“I plead with you! Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
“If He asks much of you, it is because He knows you can give much.”

Precious and most gracious Lord, You who ordained marriage and made it a sacrament come and heal this marriage. I bind the enemy and his evil lies to this husband and wife by the precious Blood of our Savior and Lord Jesus the Christ and place them in our dear Lord’s hands. Restore what has been damaged and make this marraige whole and a blessing to others. Thank you most loving Lord.

P.S. I’m assuming you have had counseling? If not, this is a good idea. Also to attend a retreat for marriages (can’t remember the name of the one I’d like to recommend but it is a very good Catholic one, perhaps your priest can remember the name of it…?) My love and prayers.

Keep praying. Pray to our Lord for patience and insight. Pray for guidance. It took three years of praying, for me in a similar situation with the perpetual other man, before God showed me a sign and the path I should follow. Know that our prayer is never left unanswered. I will be praying for you, and that he seek forgiveness and reconciliation.

Thank you Lord, for giving us the true sign of Your love in the gift of Your Son. Mother Mary, please may she find consolation in your care.
