unsure what to do here, but here is the summary of it all.

sister often breaks down to stress, being overwhelmed, and sad situations. as a result she stops eating, doesn’t sleep, and stops all interactions (or close to it). things that spark these events are related to romantic relationships, hardships between friends, work, and the passing of a loved one (these things have transpired for past few years.

I would like to know where to go or look in order to find some studies, research, comments or what ever - on handling stress, emotions, not getting what we want, death, suffering, etc. where should I look?

I think I’d check into her temperament type. Probably would help her to know a thing or two about herself. Might make these low periods more explainable.

It sounds like your sister would benefit from speaking to a therapist…they will have the methods to help her cope with lifes challenges without breaking down, do you think she would be open to speaking to one? …

She does not need what people are saying she needs.

**She needs to stay in a state of grace and receive Holy Communion as often as possible. Holy Confession once a week if possible. ** Daily Mass and daily Eucharist is the best remedy for her situation. And a focus on getting to Heaven and getting others to Heaven. She needs to set her eyes on Eternity.

The Saints have great books on dealing with stress and the other things you mentioned. St Faustina’s Diary talks about spiritual darkness and how to stay close to Jesus.

God loves her. She needs to set her mind on things pertaining to Heaven and be reminded that God loves her.

God’s Church has been saving souls without “mental health professionals” for 2000 years. Stop sending people to them every time someone is fighting spiritual darkness. They can not help them get to Heaven. Their theories on depression, bi-polar, schizophrenia etc ARE JUST THEORIES. Like evolution is just a theory. The DSM is made up. They VOTE on what they will put in it. It is not science, it is a belief system. The people who get sent there spend time trying to figure out their “mental illness” when they should be trying to figure out how they are going to stay in a state of grace and receive Holy Communion as often as possible. They should be spending their time thinking about their salvation and how to save others. If they are in a state of grace and receiving the Body and Blood of God, God is very close to them.

I salute you and love you all
I salute your Guardian Angels (I love you Guardian Angels)

Holy Spirit I love you and I trust you. Please help Lord. In Jesus Name I pray
