In watching EWTN recently, a show with Fr. Benedict and Alice Von Hildebrand, I believe heard one of them say that purity was essential to healing a severely broken heart. Did I? Was it Alice Von Hildebrand - I thought it may have been? If so, was she quoting herself, or St. Augustine, or her late husband? (If she or her husband has written a book about this, I’d really like to read it).
