I am a recent convert and attend a church that has its services in Latin, including Vespers and Compline. I have been looking for a Latin / English Breviary 2nd hand, but have had no look and so it looks like I will need to buy the Baronius Press 3 volume one which is a small fortune. I really want to both attend these services and pray the offices at home, but before I spend so much money want to be able to learn how to use it propers. I have looked on the internet but have so far not found a site that helps in any great way. The priest has very kindly loaned me his copy and although I have managed some degree of understanding I am still struggling with which propers are to be said, and more importantly where, and at what point the propers are said within Vespers for example. Does anyone know a good simple web site that can give examples or illustrations? That would be a real help. Once I am confident I can get to use it then I can obtain a copy, but if I cant get to grips with it there seems little point, Thanks in advance
