Help with Issue at Mass

Hi! I did ask after mass. I mentioned that.

Wow. Pretty extreme! I guess my final thought is maybe there is a reason he’s in Tokyo and not in Baltimore or Los Angeles. I went to Mass in Sydney–the cathedral–a few years ago, and to my surprise the priest was American. During his sermon he mentioned the town where he had been before he came to Australia. It wasn’t far from where I lived. I went up to him afterwards just to say what a coincidence it was, and he seemed very skittish, like he had something to hide. I have no idea. But it was weird.

WE should RESPECT the priest of any parish
IN HIS OFFICE as priest, and not to rock the
boat on non-essential matters,. To me, the
seeming insensitivity to others’ quirks(genu-
flecting before receiving communion and
asking the non-Catholics to leave before
communion) are not important enough to
take away from WORHIP and FELLOWSHIP
which is why we celebrate the Eucharist in
the Cencacle or the Upper Room( Some
call it the Sanctuary).
