I had a dream the other night that before Communion our priest came to me in the front row off of the Altar and said to me “I know you’ve broken your arm in the past, but the light is still within you.” What’s that supposed to mean? Just a bad piece of pie, or was it worth my time?

My recommendation is to pray and fast about it and then present it to your priest and be obedient to whatever direction he gives you. If he says it’s just pizza affecting you badly than go with that, or he may have some insight. Trust that Jesus will speak through him to give you the right answer and trust that answer is right.

I believe in dreams and visions, but it’s always better not speak about them until you go to your spiritual advisor or priest. Often times well meaning folks can lead you into confusion telling you things about your dreams that are not really true and than confusion sets in. Just a word of advice.🙂

certainly cant interpret somebody else’s dream, but usually things in dreams make sense only to the dreamer. If I dreamt that I would think, hmm what does “broken arm” mean to me in that context? I thought of “if thine eye offends thee, pluck it out, if thy hand offends thee, cut it off” so for me it would mean, how have I used my arm to offend or sin? Or what is my arm clinging to that causes me to sin? Is my arm acting as a barrier, am I shutting people out instead of reaching out to them? If you paid a couple of hundred bucks an hour to a shrink he would probably ask you “what do you think it means?” see I just saved you some money.
