This is what we have so far.
For our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, Bishop Kevin Ferrell, and all clergy and religious, that they may always follow the light of Christ and guide the Church to do the same, let us pray to the Lord.
For our President and for all leaders, that they may always work for peace and the well-being of all people, let us pray to the Lord.
For an increased respect of the dignity of life, that we may always look out for the rights of our brothers and sisters, from the smallest to the greatest, let us pray to the Lord.
For the safety of all those who selflessly put themselves in dangers way to protect others,…, let us pray to the Lord.
For all those discerning their vocation, that they may hear the voice of God and put their trust in Him, let us pray to the Lord.
For all married couples, that they may always serve each other with love, trusting in God’s Providence, let us pray to the Lord.
For all those here today, in thanksgiving for them, and remembering their personal needs and prayers, let us pray to the Lord.
I am happy with all but the 4th one. All the other ones are formated as “For so-and-so, that such-and-such,” except this one. My Fiance is a police officer, so we want to pray for police officers, and those in similar fields, but we are having lots of trouble with the wording. Any ideas? Thanks!
