would you consider wrong naming something “hell”, for example a weapon painted pink called the “Hell kitty”.

and having a protagonist making wrong stuff, for a comedic scene?

or using one liners (like the ones from action movies where after the guy kills others says something), would it be considered to celebrate violence or just spicing up the story.

I think it would depend upon the story line and the characters. Bad (or evil) characters are also shown in the Bible, but the end result is for good. I’d keep the foul language to a minimum, or use “****” to indicate such. I have also written some stories, and have started an historical fiction novel, and there are bad characters, as well as the main protagonist who is a prostitute, who eventually becomes very religious and a good person.

Traillius has been trying to find other writers to compare notes with. Why not speak with him about this.

I am not a verbal puritan, by any means, but I believe that as a rule we should not say “Hell” unless we mean the real one.

ICXC NIKA.

In the first case, i dont mean as using it in a “what the hell” form, but like in names, like for example, there is a place called hell’s kitchen in real world, as there is a plane called the hellcat, i was asking if it’s wrong to name something the “hell insertnamehere”
