Readers, I used to have this aweful addiction to masterbation. I would do it a couple times a week and it would just kill me inside everytime I did it, but I kept doing it, but recently i have been doing it less and less. yet everytime I do it I just feel so terrible and feel as if I let down Jesus by portraying this aweful act. I want to confess but can never muster up enough confidence to go and do it. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!

Will be praying for you.:hug1: Are you able to confess behind a curtain at your church? That would probably help a bit, I know it did with me when I had to confess sins I was really ashamed of. If that option isn’t available, find a church that does. This must be confessed.:gopray:

Joe, this is probably the number one sin confessed. Most, who are honest, have fallen in this area including myself. Just go to confession and tell the priest your sin. You can say that you were impure with yourself. The priest will know what you are talking about. The great news is that you are making progress! Many of us still fall in this area but as long as we progress and turn to God, He will continue to forgive us. You are definitely in my prayers and please keep me in yours. You will do just fine in confession. You are definitely not alone in this sin…God Bless you…teachccd

You definatly aren’t alone on this… I have gone to confession quite a few times myself and it was hard for me at first to look at the priest face to face telling him my sin, but now I do look at him, and it’s even better and I feel so comfertable with it. There was a little prayer this priest once told me to help me when I feel the temptation, so I’ll share it with you… all you have to say is, Sacred heart of Jesus, I place all my trust into you.

hope this helps… dont feel alone and trust in God 🙂
