Help!

Ok…calm down. Its not that urgent…just wanted to get peoples attention with the title. 👍

There is this young boy named Royal who goes to my parish…its an FSSP Tridentine Parish and is absolutly filthy with kids (filthy in that good way?..er?) There are so many children around the pews and under them (yup…weve got crawlers) that you cant help but find yourself starting a conversation with one after Mass.

Well I was praying a rosary after the Low Mass when the aforementioned Royal asked me what I was praying for. I couldnt think of anything (I hadnt prayed a petition that particular time) and so I said for all the children like you.

He said that he would pray the rosary like his mother taught him but he has nothing to pray about.

I asked him questions like:
  1. Are any of your relatives sick?
  2. Do you have any worries?
  3. Do you want anything for Christmas?
But the little kid is DETERMINED to insist that he has absolutely nothing worth praying for. So I told him id bring a list and next sunday we could pray the rosary together for whatever’s on my list.

So…I need petitions and I need them fast.

Make it simple for the kid. 😃
 
Vocations - lots of good priests and sisters, always worth praying for.

The souls in purgatory, seeing as how it’s the month for it

And perhaps a prayer of thanksgiving that no-one he knows has any problems or anything, obviously.
 
Kids all over the world who suffer abuses and/or great poverty.

And stop scaring us! 😉
 
A childs prayer is very powerful. Ask him to pray for mercy for all of us. Tim

I believe this too… I dont know if it is too mature a topic for the child but could you ask for the restoration of my marriage and reconciliation with my husband to stop the divorce?
 
What an awesome church scene! Well, not that I would be thrilled to discover a “crawler” under my pew :o but that a little kid would stay after Mass to pray the Rosary with another parishoner! 👍

Pray for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart!
 
I have a weak marriage too…very weak.
How old is this kid? Don’t underestimate the imagination of this child: maybe the Diary of St. Faustina (like passage #741) would excite him. Stuff about angels and demons are exciting, and no less because they are real!

Tell him to pray for LOVE, it’s the most important thing!

Please pray for a young soldier, Joshua, who may lose his legs due to injuries suffered in Iraq.

In regard to the kid who yelled fire in a building:

Idea for the child: Pray for his future family!
