It’s been awhile since i’ve posted here. Just wanted to say hello and that my husband and i are now going to be helping out with the RCIA class. Who would have thought i would be in this position .

My wife and I made the same decision 17 years ago - still at it. You will find it a very rewarding experience. Be prepared to make some lifelong friends.

The Marian Catechists in LaCrosse, Wisconsin offer some excellent courses for catechists. I took them to ensure that I would be teaching only authentic Cathlolic doctrine to my students, they deserve that and it is highly recommended.

Amen to your commitment, Hab. With all of the new age-y stuff that has crept into religious ed, we need more catechists who are dedicated to teaching authentic Catholic doctrine, and not heterodoxy!
