God is truly great. 🙂

My wife and I made the same decision 17 years ago - still at it. You will find it a very rewarding experience. Be prepared to make some lifelong friends.

This is the best thing I am involved in at my parish! An amazing experience. You will love it.

Have fun!

The Marian Catechists in LaCrosse, Wisconsin offer some excellent courses for catechists. I took them to ensure that I would be teaching only authentic Cathlolic doctrine to my students, they deserve that and it is highly recommended.

As a candidate, I just want to say thank you for your service. God is using you!!

Best wishes to you as you start in this ministry. Getting involved in RCIA is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Being able to see how God moves in people’s lives and how they respond to that is a tremendous gift!

Amen to your commitment, Hab. With all of the new age-y stuff that has crept into religious ed, we need more catechists who are dedicated to teaching authentic Catholic doctrine, and not heterodoxy!
