The best sources to go to - other than just quoting scripture to him - is other exJWs to find out how they were able to start thinking own their own instead of what the watchtower has taught.
Realistically if he is a faithful JW and has always been that, then it would be HARD to get a conversion especially towards Catholicism since most of their literature is geared toward refuting Catholics. My wife is also a JW although we will probably be getting a divorce - on that note, its not been my decision -I’ve prayed and prayed but ultimately will be glad to get out of that situation (thank goodness we don’t have children).
Really getting a conversion from a faithful JW would take a long process. You may have to not only show them scriptures but also how the Watchtower has contridicted itself over its history. And it would take time and patience to undo all the brainwashing. Plus if his family and friends are in the organization then he would also have to deal with the possibility of losing them due to the Watchtower’s “shunning” techniques.
You find many helpful advice on ex-jehovah witness message boards (many secular but very useful) and also at www.catholicxjw.com for Catholic perspective.
You are in my prayers and I hope that you can accomplish what I could not especially for the sake of your children.
