Why is Henoch singled out in the genealogy with the verse:
Gen 5:24 - And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.
whereas the rest of the patriarchs are indicated to have died? I am curious as to what kind of meaning may be contained in this. Is this just a decorative way of saying that Henoch also just died, or could there be other implied meanings or forshadowing? Any thoughts appreciated.
