Well, you are the ones who have the Index of Forbidden Books. We, however, are free to read, because we trust Christ to lead us and live in us. We aren’t afraid of the truth. I have appreciated many things I have read that are written by Catholics. Some are challenging, some enlightening, some absurd and some deepen my faith and appreciation for our shared heritage.

Many have made comments about the assertive, insolent, ignorant, proud, despicable, divisive and abrasive way that you post. You seemed to take that to heart at one point in this thread. If you were serious about repenting, you would ask the Moderators to close this thread and never start another like it.

Well, anyway, those are my thoughts. You asked for them in a very general way and you have no right to complain about how you reaped what you sowed.

Hey jimmy, this isn’t mean to be rude, if it is, tell me why should I be scared to visit that? I am a protestant, but I will visit that website if you want me to, I do not see what the point is.

Thank you ChristianKnight, you shouldn’t be and feel free to post any links that you feel support your opinions. I title threads in a way to create interest and to “spark” a conversation…that’s all.

Some here and I am not speaking about you, make an issue of things like this, when in reality, it isn’t the thread title that bother’s them; it is Catholicism that bother’s them and that’s too bad.

My beliefs are very general, I believen Christ as the son of God, but also God (Trinity), I believe that any man can be saved, I believen sin (I still need to learn about the two types of sin though), I believe praying is a good idea, to Jesus, or asking others to pray iwth you (Saints/Mary, ect).

Wherever did you drum up all these excuses and polemics from? I never once thought of any one of these things in my responses to you; but I forgot - you KNOW what I am thinking - as you do the rest of the Protestants on this board. Atleast it’s a great way to get out of answering to post #104.

Be that as it may; I wonder if you can tell us then; what is this topic about?
