he learned how to play ‘hey Jude’ by ear on the piano at the age of 6, so his parents got the grandmother to teach him piano. He found he learned to play by ear.
He wanted to be a christian singer. He backed piano to a famous female christian singer for a while and later started his own solo career. He joined a bible study group.
He did end up in drugs but one day in his room crying out to God he had an experience of Jesus and turned his life around. The minute he saw his wife
he rang his mother and told her he’d found his wife (before he even knew the girl).
His wife was not able to have children due to a medical problem. They went to some holy people to be prayed over and miraculously she then had loads of children. Michael is a pastor at his church. Has set up a place in his town to keep youth off the streets and away from drugs. He wrote a prayer called ‘The Blessing’ which he now reads at his concerts. The first time he read it on a cruise ship after a concert and they couldn’t print enough copies of the prayer for the audience afterwards
