I just can’t agree that human life and a cows life are equated.

To kill a saintly sinless person or an embryo would be similar because both are innocent and harmless and could be a source of goodness and blessing in the future. (A cow, if considered sacred in a culture, would also be innocent, harmless, and a source of blessing.)

One doesn’t have to be a Christian to understand that killing a child within the womb is an evil thing. God has put this knowledge in our hearts.

No, to kill a cow is to symbolically murder your parents.

See, a bull’s labor pulling a plough puts food on the table–like your father. A cow’s milk feeds children–like your mother. Therefore it’s taboo to kill them.
