I don’t think the Seven Sacraments are arbitrary. They are calculated and predetermined, according to the certain signs that God would build into the Creation to teach essential mysteries. Of these especially would include, sex and physical nourishment, hence, the predestined sacraments of Marriage (to image the Trinity and ultimate end of human existence) and the Eucharist, (man does not live by bread alone…).

So then, I neither see it as arbitrary that heretics intrinsically lose five sacraments and retain only two, Baptism and Marriage. I see these as NOT arbitrary. For God leaves poor heretics with the minimal mysteries and grace necessary to combat the two primary lies of the dragon from the beginning, the two lies that summarize and form the basis of all iniquity, both in individual creatures, as well as historical iniqiuty.

Therefore the conjecture is this: the two horns of the false prophet are a symbol of the diabolical twisting of the great signs left to heretics into the “ultimate heresy”, that is, the same lies that are spoken in the beginning by the serpent, the same ultimate “false prophecy” of all time.

here is explanation below:

Baptism undoes the first lie of the serpent. For the serpent had said “God is lying, do not trust him.” That is, the serpent killed faith in what God has revealed. Also, of course, he says, “go ahead and take the fruit, do your own will, you’ll be happier, with no consequences.”

So then, St. Hillarious, listen to dialogue that takes place every year in the Church at Easter Vigil, when the adult catechumen steps up to the waters that shall reverse the damage done in the garden:

Priest: “Do you reject SIN, so as to live in the freedom of God’s children?”

Catech: “I do!” (I repent that I took the fruit, and seek to strive not to do it again.)

Priest: “Do you reject Satan, the father of lies, and all his empty promises?”

Cat: “I do!” (I no longer believe his lies, the same as in the garden, and I seek to know God and follow Him and His Truth).

Priest: “Do you believe in One God, the Father Almighty, … the Son, Jesus Christ, …the Spirit, …the Holy CATHOLIC Church… etc.” (i.e, the CREED, or statement of FAITH, without which one cannot be saved)?

Cat: “I do!” (That is, I PUT the fruit back on the tree of life that gave it its meaning and order in the first place. I no longer see the creation as my toy for my ultimate fulfillment, but as God’s means of communicating love and signs to me to enable me to love Him and Neighbor. And thereby, I return to where Eve was before she even met the serpent. That is, I place my TRUST in what God has revealed [the CREED, hello, hello], my faith is RESTORED).

There you have it, St. Hillarious, **BAPTISM undoes the FIRST lie **of the dragon, by turning FROM sin and restoring FAITH.

Let’s move on to** Marriage**.

Marriage, as JPII, the great Holy Father, taught, is the PROTOTYPE Sacrament, in that it communicates through its very sign, the ULTIMATE purpose of our existence, which is marriage with GOD! Behold, in marriage, God wishes to communicate the most profound mystery of the Catholic faith itself, and, thereby, the most profound mystery of human existence.

Why did God create us? In short, it is this: in order that we might give and receive love, a love that comes from God and is of God, the Trinity, with God and with all our brother and sister human creatures, for ever without end. Also, this love finds its fullest expression in the Infinite Embrace of Love between the Three Divine Persons of the Trinity itself.

Behold, from all eternity, there is the Father, who proceeds from no one. But the Father is God, who is Love, therefore, a Love that cannot contain itself. It seeks to offer itself completely, in utter abandonment. Therefore, it overflows eternally in such a manner that it BEGETS an image of itself, and this One Begotten, is truly fully GOd Himself, the Son. A distinct Person, and yet FULLY God. And the Love between the Father and the Son is Infinite, totally Abandoning, Reckless, All-Knowing, All-Penetrating, All-Giving, All-Receiving. And it therefore overflows so much, it is so indescribable and Beautiful, that this very LOVE which proceeds from the Father and the Son, BECOMES a Third Person. This Person is the Spirit, the HOLY Spirit, and is also fully God. Fully Divine.

So, then, St. Hillarious, let me whisper unto you a mystery. The Divine Trinity desired from all eternity to create human beings in such a manner as to manifest this Indescribably Beautiful Mystery in their very nature as SEXUAL, as male and female.

So then, consider this. From Adam PROCEEDS Eve, for woman is taken from man. And then the two can offer their whole selves, in total abandonment and love, giving fully and receiving the other, desiring recklessly to immerse and penetrate one another in the most profound sense, hence, not merely physically, but ESPECIALLY spiritually: in intellect, and will. So then, the love, the total immersion and abandonment of intellect and will, expressed even through the BODY, is so wonderful and total and beautiful that it can BECOME ANOTHER person, who is JUST as IMMEASURABLE and PRICELESS in dignity as the husband as the wife themselves, all three being called to UNITE their profound love for one another to point to its ULTIMATE fulfillment: to give and receive the Love that God gives unto them in grace back to God and to one another forever in Heaven, and, ultimately, the New Unending Creation.

Therefore, out of all the seven Sacraments that Our Lamb instituted, symbolized in the Seven Horns, Marriage is the ULTIMATE expression of what SHALL be. It is the greatest sign of what we are called to. It points towards possession of God, that is, the unending spiritual orgasm we shall have when we come to see God as He is, if we attain to our calling.

But, then, let me also tell you a secret, St. Hillarious: Tertullian, the great father, before he became a heretic, has taught us, his Catholic children, that the Dragon in fact PLAGIARIZES the Sacraments! For the devil cannot think of anything that God does not know. Therefore, all he can do is TAKE the things that God has made beautiful and signs of love and life and spiritual mystery, and TWIST them into evil counterparts! So then, even as the Woman in Revelation 12 is primarliy a symbol of the People of God, and, hence now, the Catholic Church, the **BRIDE **Of Christ, journeying towards the consummation with Her Bridegroom, behold, the dragon sows the antithesis, the WHORE. For, everything that is wonderful and beautiful and loving in the marital embrace is utterly stripped away and MOCKED by the dragon in fornication and prostitution. If God’s Love dwelled in a man’s heart, and a prostitute approached him, he would begin to cry tears of anguish, and say, “My dear woman, this is not the way. For your body is priceless, a sign of the reception of God’s Love, to concieve love and bear forth love unto humanity. Do not sell it to men who care nothing for you. For in you is a soul that can never be purchased. You are called to receive love that is free and that seeks YOUR good, not you AS a good. And ultimately, God wishes to give Himself to you forever, and give you His love in the depths of your soul, where you conceive it and offer it back to Him in thanksgiving and joy.” But, behold, the child of the devil, who bears the imprint of the mark of utter blasphemy cares for no one but himself. He does not care about the higher things of the spirit., much less of love and goodness and beauty and truth. Therefore, for him, a woman is nothing more than an object, that can be “purchased” for FINITE sum (even though she is objectively priceless because of her immortal soul), whose only worth is her PHYSICAL body, which, after being purchased, can be used, and then discarded. For, for the child of the devil, there is nothing worth living for except material pleasures, possessions, and selfishly arrogant and ambitious, egotistical accomplishments.

In conclusion, when we recognize that the marital embrace, when experienced in and by God’s Love dwelling within man and woman, is the greatest sign of beauty and of human existence and to our final end, which is the eternal possession of INFINITE Love, Beauty, Truth, and Goodness, so then, we see that **prostituted fornication **is the ultimate PLAGAIRIZING of this wondrous ultimate beauty, henceforth becoming the fullest manifestation of the **SECOND LIE **of the dragon, which, again, is the “TAKING” of the fruit. For the fruit symbolizes the CREATION, which, from all eternity, God created with a PURPOSE, filling it with PHYSICAL SIGNS that teach spiritual mysteries of love, goodness, truth, and LIFE. Hence, the Creation initially is a part of the TREE OF LIFE. That is, God is saying, so long as you RECEIVE the Creation from MY Loving hands, and embrace it as MY gift of love, and use it in accord with its LIFE-GIVING, LOVING meaning, there shall be prosperity between Me and you, and between yourselves. But if you TAKE it from the Tree of life and love, divorcing it from this meaning and purpose it has, thinking that the mere FINITE good of creation, in its material essence ALONE, can fulfill you, you invite destruction and despair. For only I, the Immeasurable God, only my INFINITE Love and Truth, can fully satisfy that which you long for in fulfillment. No amount of FINITE goods, FINITE accomplishments, can ever COMPLETELY fill your void. Only My INFINITE Love and Truth can.

Therefore, the two primary lies of the dragon are most clearly imaged in the antithesis of Baptism and Marriage, which, somehow, are the only two Sacraments of the seven that heretics can ever have if they remain heretics. Hence, the two sacraments that are left to poor heretics, even what goodness they leave, the dragon “takes” and twists them into diabolical counterparts, the ultimate lies, and therefore the ultimate “false word” that has "two horns, like a Lamb [who has seven], but who speaks as a dragon."

Let us continue, shall we, in the meditations.

So then we see that the false prophet has “two” horns like a Lamb, who has seven. Horns can be symbols of power, hence, the power of Christ’s Redemption is precisely the Seven Sacraments, of which the two remaining in heresy are ripped even from the innocent heretics and diabolically twisted into the “ultimate heresy”, the two foundational lies of Satan from the beginning.

Consider also this, are not Peter, and then the other Apostles, likewise intrinsically necessary in any Plan of Salvation? Will it not be the Will of the Incarnate Son, to first leave GENERAL Fathers through which to mediate the more profound of graces that require the special sense of the man who is “in persona Kristi”? Hence, the general sense of Apostolic Succession would always exist in any Creation when the New is inaugurated. And yet, even then, Christ wills His Bride to be ONE, even as He and the Father are One. Hence, what if the men who, in general, are delving into a deeper question of doctrine, cannot agree fully on answer? Should there not be a single tie breaker to preserve this unity? And even still more, why not also leave a single Father to image on Earth the Father of Fathers in Heaven, in order that there should be a great and profound, CERTAIN sign of unity, that is, PETER.

Hence, even Peter is also predestined, the prince of the apostles, the servant of servants, the slave of all slaves.

But then, therefore, already there is intrinsically predestined the two forms of separation in the Body of Christ, schism and heresy, respectively. That is, the schismatic will stand apart from Peter and yet retain the validity of a general Apostolic Successor. Hence, in Schism, because there resides still the sense of the priesthood, therefore the seven sacraments remain.

But, of course, the other form is far worse, that is, the person or community which stands apart not only from Peter, but from the whole general collection of the glorious successors of the Apostles, that is, the far worse tragedy of HERESY.

But, then we come back to, seeing as all the five sacraments after Baptism and Marriage require the episcopate, the heretic must lose intrinsically these five, and retain, as we have seen, merely two, two that, incidentally, very much form the species to be twisted in such a manner that, after twisting, they become a sign of the foundational lies of all sin, sin appropriately being a “taking” of the Creation from God, in as much as “heresy” is synonymous with “to take.”

But wherein have we seen the numbers five and two? Or seven? A-ha, in the feeding of the multitudes! For behold, in all four Gospels, there is the story of how Christ feeds the 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish, and in two of the four, he feeds 4,000 people with 7 loaves and a few fish.

So then I propose the following: just as schism and heresy are predetermined in any Creation, and since this very ecclesiology must be intimately connected with the sacramental life itself, so then the Scriptures are in fact communicating these two primary forms of separation precisely in the parallel stories.

Hence, in schism, there are 7 loaves, and a few fish, in as much as loaves come from the earth, and the earth is the foundation of truth (see 1 Tim. 3:15), that is, the Church is. Hence, though the Orthodox are separated from the West, nevertheless, they are less prone to error for they have the general foundation of the earth that is Oral Tradition. For if I approach an Eastern Bishop and say, what think you of this doctrine, he shall listen to argumentation not only from Scripture but also the Tradition, at least that which came in the millennium before the Great Schism.

But behold, the five loaves and two fish then reference heresy, for the heretics reject the fruit that would come from the earth, they separate from that foundation of Oral Tradition, of the Bishops in general, and hence, they are ‘tossed to and fro by every wave of doctrine.’ But behold, even in the chaos of the sea, Christ does not leave them orphans. Rather, he can still feed them with the two fish, Baptism and Marriage, which do not require a priest, for behold, “the baptism of heretics is valid (assuming proper form and matter)”. And even those who do not use proper form might still get the sanctifying power implicitly, provided they are not culpable in the rejection of the form or do not intend to cleanse. Also, the priest does not confer marriage (in the Roman Rite). The man and the woman confer the sacrament upon each other, and the sign thereof is precisely their BODIES!

And finally, consider an interesting detail: remember, there were twelve tribes of Israel, fulfilled by the Twelve Apostles. And in the OT, there was indeed a great schism, between the North and the South, and the North took most, that is, 10, of the 12 tribes, and yet the true ultimate kingship remained in Judah, that is the South, the 2 remnant tribes.

So then, in the NT, similarly, the East broke from the West and took 4 of the 5 Apostolic Sees with it, leaving behind merely Peter, who yet retains the ultimate kingship. Coincidence? Perhaps. But let us continue: so then Christ fed 4 thousand with 7 loaves and a few fish (the primary separation in the** East** has been Schism, with 4 Apostolic Sees) and Christ fed 5 thousand with 5 loaves and a few fish (the primary division in the West has been Heresy, which, even though it contains only 1 Apostolic See, nevertheless has the fullness of all 5 because it is the Peter, the ultimate foundation, the Rock, that is, even more solid than the general earth.)

Addenduum: the most plain imagery suggets this, for, how does Christ ultimately feed us? With sanctifying grace. And what the primary sources of this grace? The Seven Sacraments!
