Incidentally, I thought last night’s episode was very good overall – …

The biggest flaw in the episode was the flashback to Claire’s learning that she’d been adopted. First of all, I believe it’s rare these days for parents to keep such a thing a secret for so long. But if they had, I can’t imagine her accepting it THAT easily, or the dad deciding it was time to reveal it to her simply because she asked if she would need glasses when she was older. It was just a very unbelievable scene.

Yes, but keep in mind that Bennet is a man of many secrets, so keeping it from Claire that she was adopted until she needed to know would be just like him, especailly as he was getting so attached to her as his own. She was disturbed by it, but what else could she do but accept the truth?

As for the scenario with the glasses, I guess it was a neat plot device to show why he started wearing them and also bring up how the relationship developed between father and daughter. We know things don’t neccessarily work that way in real life but for storytelling purposes I think it was cool, IMHO.

Great episode last night. I’ve passed the point where I’m watching it because there’s nothing else on, to now I’m watching it because I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t get renewed for next year. But as screwy as the network execs can be, I wouldn’t bet anything against it either.

Oh man! I cannot believe it took me so long to find this thread. I am so surprised that “Rob’s wife” and “Franko’s wife” are into this show. how cool is that! Now I don’t feel so wierd that I like it too I’ve always been into super hero stuff. I was totally hooked on that old cheeze batman show with Adam West when I was a child. LOL!

So I like reading on the Heroe’s MB on NBC’s site and a lot of people are thinking that that “uluru” thinggy on the cover of Hiro’s comic is a monster that is living inside of Sylor. Man, he is so evil. I sure hope he doesn’t kill Dr. Suresh!

What do you guys think of HRG (Mr. Bennit) now that he saved Clair? do you think he’s good or bad? Do you think he’ll see her again? Where do you think the Hation guy is going to take her?

I haven’t seen any buzz about the graphic novel on here. have you folks checked it out? it kind of expands on the plot a little bit. You should read it. here’s the link inceas some of ya’ll haven’t seen it. You go to www.nbc.com/heroes and click on Novels. Some of them are really cool! You get to see Nikki/Jessica ice DL’s “crew” on one of them. It’s pretty sweet!

Oh and that is SOOO cool about Mr. Nikamora’s licens plate number. LOL! I totally did not see that and I am a huge Trekker.

Yep, now you know you’re just as weird as me!
I love that I can watch this with the boys, which are huge X-Men and SpiderMan fans. I went to the NBC boards once or twice, but I just don’t have the time to navigate too many sites on a regular basis. That’s why I started a thread here in one of my favorite stomping grounds.

This is such a great thread! My husband swore he saw Donald Sutherland at the very end, until I pointed out to him that the man’s face wasn’t shown. So I think you and your wife may be onto something.

I think the only person who can stop Sylar is Peter. No matter how many powers Sylar get by killing people, Peter only has to meet up with him to absorb his powers.

It sure won’t be Peter or Hiro who die next. Peter is the Hero of the show. He will eventually kill Sylar. Maybe not in any episode soon but he will eventually kill him. I think that Peter will realize his potential in the next episode and he will surprise Sylar.

We told you so!” But this shows that Sylar can be stopped, but people have got to quit under-estimating him and monologging! **

Him and maybe Claire too. I saw that Suresh was at least barely alive when Peter came in. I think he’s going to live after all. He found the key and can expand the list now. Sounds like he’s going to be neccessary. I also wonder if he has some untapped potential???

I know I watch the show, but I felt, especially last night, that there was just too much information thrown at me in only an hour! My friend was joking that at least I have some time to “process” everything that happened before the next episode in April.

Yes, I caught that. The driver was Stan Lee, creator of Marvel Comics. I saw his name in the credits on that episode, (a couple weeks ago) and was looking for him to turn up. He picked up Hiro after he and Ando parted ways. And Stan says something like, “Are you by yourself young man?”, as Hiro boards the bus.

He is, however, the creator of the Fantastic Four, and co-creator of the Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, the Mighty Thor, the X-Men, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man.

Thanks for clarifying! I thought he started the whole company, but I knew he was responsible for the most famous characters at least.

Have you seen him in “Who Wants to be a Superhero” on the Sci-Fi channel? I thought that was pretty good too.

1. Which of our Heroes will die next? The artist, Issac. It was seen by Hiro. And Sylar mentioned his name right before he was captured by the doc.

I also, now know how Peter gets his scar. Remember, him and Hiro on the train. Hiro tells Peter, he looks different without his scar. The scar will be on top of his head, where the brain-man tried to cut it open.

I don’t think Mr Bennet will die. Hana (Wireless) will save him. If you read the online comic book, Bennet contacts Hana right before he gets himself shot and his memory erased.

I believe that Sylor can deflect bolluts with his tellaconesis (sp?). Also, when Mr Bennett shot him, the graphic novel showed him hidning out somewhere removing the bullets by hand and bandaging his wounds. He was commenting to himself about how he wished he had gotten the cheerleader so he wouldn’t have to do that. just my :twocents:

Okay. I am so into HEROS on NBC. Partly because it’s one of the few shows that doesn’t involve either medical crisis or lawyers. Hiro is our house favorite! Poor fella. I hope he doesn’t goof and send himself to prehistoric times when he finally gets his hands on that sword. Did you know you can actually call the number on that card that Clare’s dad gave Mohundi? No, I did not do that. It’s all the buzz at the HEROS forum that I glanced at for a good laugh. I didn’t even register to chat with them because I really don’t have much time anymore for this forum, much less another one. And of course, I wouldn’t leave CAF!

Gosh I love that show.
