No, he’s the guy who says people can’t see him but Peter Petrelli can, probably because of his own ability to mimic other special powers.

I love the show too. Who wouldn’t love Hiro? Seriously! And the best part is that I bet they won’t kill him off since he’s the “title character.”
👍 Although I must admit to getting nervous for his good buddy, Ando. It’s just a horrible matter of time until Hiro can’t be there to watch his back at a critical moment…

But could we please get them to stop killing off characters I like and enjoy watching? And what does Sylar have against girls in particular? He’s killed Charlie, Eden and “the cheerleader” (thankfully Claire was saved). Am I missing any other victims? I know there were news reports about other victims who were never characters on the show…
**He doesn’t seem to discriminate anyone, imo. In the beginning of the series, he killed families and others. If nothing else, he killed the male doctor that was nuts enough to not be paranoid in tonights episode. I turned to dh and said, “What?! No way man. I’d put him in a cremator straps and all! That’s just the logical thing to do in this situation.” Dh disagrees about my logic.😛 **

I was thinking the same thing! I still can’t quite understand the whole “save the cheerleader” bit, but I guess everyone else is in the same boat.

Hiro is hilarious, I love him.

I just started getting into this show over the past couple of months, tried catching up on episodes I missed when all the reruns were starting over the holidays. Pretty cool show, beats anything else in it’s time slot on Monday nights! (24 is too intense for me:rolleyes: )

That is an interesting theory. I don’t know if I would say it is the older patrelli. It is pretty interesting and I can’t wait till next monday to see who it is.

Ohhh interesting theories. I’m wondering if her dad is Sayler.

I thought it was a good episode. I am curious if the Haitian man gets in trouble for telling Claire to place the chimes in her window. Her dad took note of the chimes being placed there.

That’s totally what I think! Cool.

Also, did anyone believe for a second that Sylar was dead? Not in my house, surely! I had to hide my face in hubby’s shoulder as soon as that guy turned his back to Mr. McCreepy (aka Sylar). That is ALWAYS a bad move.

Oh, and I wouldn’t be lying down next to Nikki/Jessica anytime soon. I keep telling that psychiatrist woman to “WATCH OUT.”

I don’t think her dad is fooled at all. I think at the very first he was willing to chalk it up to PTS, but now I don’t think he’s even a bit fooled. If he cares about her at all, he better come clean quick. Keeping her int he dark could get them all killed.

I don’t think the shrink is legit. I think she wants to recruit Jessica for Lenderman or whoever. Like Sylar or the Haitian? I don’t think she cares one bit about helping Nikki. In which case, Nikki may need to listen to her hubby and get out of there any way she can real soon.

**I sure hope Nikki’s boy gets his bum warmed for stealing all that money! Granted the poor kid is just trying to do his best, but dad needs to lay down the law like Nikki told him. Oh please don’t let the loving dad mess this up by using his kid! 😦 I’m confused about why dad can’t get a job or assistance? If nothing else, why doesn’t he go live with his mom from the earlier episode? Or did Jessica kill her too? I can’t remember…🙂 **

DL is a felon, so i think his chances of gainful employment are probably nil (unless he hooks up with Linderman or Claire’s dad). Oh, and I love that Chris E. is on Heros!
 
Heroes is my favorite show on TV right now, next to Smallville! (Greg Beeman is an executive producer/writer/director for both shows, by the way).

Now that we know Claire’s real mom can spontaneously ignite herself on fire I’m wondering if she’s related to Ted Sprague at all (the radio-active guy that now Peter was trying to find).

Can’t wait to see what happens next!

No? I thought he gave the money back and made a deal, so that he could go on the straight and narrow???
I thought he was an ex-con, not a felon (as in still on the run)???
**Ex-cons CAN get gainful employment if they are willing to swallow their pride and take it. Well, most of the time anyhow.😦 **

I thought he was cleared of the charges because Nikki confessed. And he did give the money back to Linderman, but Linderman reserved the right to call in a “favor” now and again. He’s not a nice man!

Aha! See, this is what happens when I work 2nd shifts! I miss eps here and there, and just go to TWOP to read the recaps. Did nothing ever come of the bodies that Nikki/Jessica buried in the desert? I definitely need to get a TiVo or DVR to make sure I get caught up.

I apologize if I mixed season up. Perhaps it is still season one. I know that a friend suggested me watching it 2 Fridays ago because it was a new episode. Anyway, as I said, perhaps I will give it another look. The only thing that I walked away with from the episode that I watched was that MANY people had all sorts of abilities and for me (a new comer) it was hard to keep track of who had what. I’m sure that if I had watched from the beginning, I would know the characters better and this wouldn’t be an issue. God bless.

I have watched it from the beginning, and it’s still a challenge to remember all the characters. However, I don’t see this as a defect–it’s part of the show’s depth (and less contrived IMHO than the similar interlacings of the backstories in Lost, though I like Lost as well).

Hiro is my favorite character too (though Claire and Peter are close behind). An ethnic stereotype (the Japanese geek), but an utterly charming one. One of the most purely lovable characters of any TV show ever.

Nikki confessed to where the bodies were as part of turning herself into the authorities.
 
Anyone else feel a little uneasy about the opening narrative to this weeks show that basically said something like we need to follow our instincts and to deny them will make us unhappy? Maybe I just mis-interpreted what they were trying to say (I did listen to it twice) but I generally have felt good about the moral core of this show and that seemed to fly in the face of that since it seems me that to follow that idealogy is basically to live like an animal is it not?
