I thought it was very good, the episode flew by pretty fast and the story keeps my interest. Peter has shown his abilities, Hiro is becoming the legend of Kinsei (and Kinsei has his own healing power like Claire). The new characters are getting interesting too.

Of course there are many questions and mysteries to be resolved in coming episodes this season, but it looks like it’s off to a good start. I see that the previews are not always of the next immediate episode, at least the one from last week showed more than was in this one, like Sylar and Nikki and Micah, but they will be on next week, probably.

I loved this week’s episode. I’m glad the Hation is back. He’s cool. He has a wierd religion, though. Have any of ya’ll read the stories about him in the comics?

I can’t wait to see the other paintings HRG was talking about.

Hiro is so cute. I loved it when he took off on the horse and was like, “Woo hoo! Ando won’t believe this!” He’s like a little boy.

Okay… what did you have in mind?

Specifcally about Hiro becoming Kensai. I thought of it as a long-term thing, where Hiro would do all the great deeds, wed the girl, have a long career as the legendary Kensai. Then, probably after his wife dies somehow, return to his time a wiser and more seasoned warrior, and become the future Hiro with the pulled back hair, soulpatch, and still carrying Kensai’s – his – sword.

Not as a little pull-your-butt-outta-the-fire trick before putting the mask back on the English wastrel. Even if he does have healing powers.

I just think my idea makes for higher epic drama. IMHO.

I thought it was so cool that the chick who played Uhora was there in New Orlins! that’s three trek appearinces now. Did you notice the evil Irish dude played Malcom on Enterprise?

How did Kensi’s remark about becoming “richer than the pope hit you”? My husband cracked up laughing (he’s a protestent). It kind of annoyed me at first, but I guess he is an English guy and this is getting into the heart of the reformation time. So I supposed it was period appropriate.

I still think that West was sent by the company somehow to spy on Clair and her family. I"m thinking, though that he doesn’t know it. I’m also thinking that the company may trick him into trying to kill HRG (and we know his fate now, don’t we?) It looks to me like he got shot right through his glasses. oh I can’t wait to see the next ep.

So, I’m not the only one who missed DL dying? I thought maybe it happened at the end of last season. Last night Nikki and Micah went to his grave.

I have such a bad memory for non-cartoons. I can remember animated shows word for word, but for some reason I have trouble with remembering live action.

Next week marks the beginning of Season 2 of Heroes. This thread is for discussion and thoughts about the new season. I seriously hope Sylar stays dead. I HATE it when villains are brought back from the dead.

The actor who plays Sylar is playing Spock in the new Star Trek movie. Spock doesn’t stay dead either. (I know. Spock isn’t a villain.)

I assume after last night’s episode, you are disappointed.

However Sylar was never dead. It was presented to us in the last episode that he retreated down the manhole or something like that.

But I am IFFY on this eseason so far. Not really captivated yet.

I did like the twist with Sylar losing his powers. They had to do something. If he just kept on accumulating them, he could not be beaten realistically.

The producers are keeping a tight lid on this, but it has been said by Molly that Sylar 'eats the brain." It has to be something basic because in the beginning his only ability was to “know how things work.” So, any special ability, like absorption couldn’t apply from the beginning.

At the end of season 1, we are left hanging on the fate of DL. However, season 2 begins 4 months later, so we are left to assume DL die, (if indeed he did) between then and now.

I have to admit I don’t remember Malcom from the Star Trek, Enterprise show.

Thanks. I was thinking of the Voyager series. I don’t remember anyone but “Seven” on that series.

This season is not living up to expectations for me. Latin bleeding eye siblings has been completely uninteresting and cheesy. Claire in high school storyline has been pretty lame and super cheesy. Hiro in the past has been way cheesy and has made me not even like Hiro anymore when he used to be cool. And these have been the majority of the show so far.

Also wasn’t DL still alive, but shot and bleeding at the end of last season? Casually divorcing Parkman’s wife/child with little explanation is weak, as viewers we deserve better writing and more explanation when writing out characters.

Also what is up with electronic girl who emailed Ted when he was in hiding last season, did she die and I did not catch it? You know the one who told him about the tracking system?

Finally they bring in more Sylar, they need him desperately. Wonder what is going on with his powers. Changing illusion girl actress and then killing her off so quickly seemed sort of dumb. Sylar with her power was a scary idea, wonder if he will have it when he gets his other powers back.

The Peter storyline is OK so far, but why is going along with being a criminal?

Hopefully this new bad guy turns out to be cool. I think he is the one killing off the old school heroes.

Look forward to finding out more about the history of the older ones next episode. I hope this season starts getting better soon.

Yes, Hana does die, but that was before Peter went boom. I think she still lives in the computer world.

Remember, the show starts out “4 MONTHS LATER” so of course there are a lot of questions unanswered. The writers are starting out the series so those who don’t know the show won’t be lost. It will take a few episodes to get everyone up to date. Then they will continue the story from where they left off.

I say, give it time before making a judgement. (I say that from one who was very critical of the show in the early episodes of season 1)
