Living in a coffin forever, is horrible. It’s torture. Not to mention the fact that he could get out somehow. Unlikely, I know, but in the world of comic book heroes, it’s plausible. I agree with you that there is still the possibility that Nikki is alive. I need to see the dead body to be sure. And even then, they can still come back with a bit of Claire’s blood, so you never know.
In Adam’s case, bullet to the brain was the best option in my opinion.

Stupid about what? Adam and his agenda? Yeah, Peter has a gentle heart and Adam did save Nathan. Plus remember Peter is in love - all gushy and mushy. Love has a way of clouding Peter’s mind I guess.

Both Adam and Sylar have an amazing, evil ability to tell people what they want to hear. They say, “Come with me, and I will give you everything you want.” They prey on people’s emotions, fears, whatever. They don’t worry about lying to get what they want. Always reminds me of the Father of Lies.
But yes, Peter also needs to learn to think things through. So do Claire, Mr. Bennet, Monica, Micah, Mohinder, Maya and Hiro to name a few. My husband and I have been wondering lately why the “good” guys are always so dumb. Then, the cleverest people tend to be evil.

Remember these people are characters made to drive us all crazy. Like watching a horror movie where the main char is going to open a door that the audience knows he should not. We are yell “no - don’t open the door”, but whoops. No thinking involved.
Peter has confused by smooth taking.
As for Caitlin, remember the goons in the future separated her from Peter and he does not know where she is. That is why she is stuck there for now and the writers have not continued with getting her back. Volume 3 or 4…whenever it becomes necessary to bring her back.

The main object of this season was for the heroes to learn when and how to use their powers. All the good guys were acting stupid and according to their emotions. Peter was weak and simply submiting to Adam. Hiro had to learn that he can not simply go back into the past and change the past.

I doubt it, because next we see Sylar in the alley injecting himself with the cure to the virus (Clare’s and Suresh’s blood) after escaping Elle. He was worried more about getting his powers back.
Whoever Angela was talking to, had to be from the Company since they were trying to keep from being exposed to the world by killing Nathan. So, Bob is more likley.
Pandora’s box probably means all heck will break loose.

I thought of the idea that maybe it was Sylar who was the shooter looked kind of like it could have been him when he was walking away but I don’t think it is possible because as anthony mentioned Sylar is too worried about himself.
Do you mean possibly a war between the Heroes like in X-men? The younger generation of heroes was intent on cleaning up the mess of the older generation and seperating themselves from the older generation.

Most of this season was a dud. I didn’t like Mya and Alejandro’s story line at all. When she “died” my group of watchers was so happy but then they brought here back
I think Pandoras Box is the fact that all of these Heroes know about each other and ar not controlled by the Company and some of them might spill the beans about their powers. OR Literally because they opened the room at the paper factory were there was a brain and the random deck of cards.
A couple of my friends noticed that there was a blurry part in the background of a few secne. We were debating if that meant that the Invisable man is making a reappearance…

Is it just me or did season 2 absolutely stink?
I get the sense that season 1 was supposed to be an extended mini-series with a definite ending. Then when it became so popular and the network wanted to extend it the storyline became all contrived and stupid.

I’m actually with you on this one. When the show first started, even before it started and was just being hyped, I thought that the premise was better suited for a mini series than a regular show.
Season 2 left me feeling unfullfilled. After the finally, I was just like, “And…” I didn’t feel the anticipation like I did in Season 1.
But I still like the show and look forward to season 3.

I always thought the idea from the beginning was that it would be a long running series. The plot is character driven and the possibilities are endless.
This season may have had it flaws but there were still some great episodes like “Cautionary Tales” (the one where Noah got shot). I think it wrapped up nicely and left a good cliffhanger with Nathan’s shooting and Sylar’s return to full power.
It may have seemed a bit rushed toward the end, but remember this season was cut short because of the writers’ strike in Hollywood. The second half of season 2 would have come back in the spring. It still might if they settle anytime soon but it doesn’t look likely now.
