The original question was about getting an individual plan without the birth control option. It appears from the HHS’s website that that is not an option.nothing is stopping or encouraging you from “purchasing” at a discount or whatever, birth control. You can choose not to exercise that option. My current BCBS comes with the option of birth control. I don’t use it (well I had a hysterectomy, so that ship has sailed), but it’s there for those who want to use it.
I for one don’t need birth control, because the method I use (abstinence) is 100% effective…and FREE.
