Hi does someone have any knowledge of visas?

Hi so I’ve been in an long distance relationship with my girlfriend for about 3 months. But we still haven’t met each other, and the thing is I cant visit her right now. Because I’m an asylee green card holder, and I’m trying to get my U.S. citizenship.

So I’m afraid that if I visit her I might not able to renter the U.S. and my life will be destroyed in that instant.

And I read that they think they’ll illegally immigrate, but she cant because we’re both young and we’re still in our respective colleges. I just want to show her around like actually give her a tour and meet her. I’m 19 and She’s 18 years old.

Go on the USCIS website - if you can’t find the answer, give them a call. I think things will work out for you. Good luck.

There are several companies that help people obtain visas, we used one on a trip to Russia. Their websites answer a lot of common questions and that may help also. We have used a company called CBIT and found them very helpful.

There are programs (or there used to be) where young foreign students can come and work in the summer in the US on short visas. You bump into them working at resorts in the US from time to time.

That might be a good fit for your friend, perhaps for next summer.

Also, a word to the wise: you don’t have an actual relationship until you have met in person. Until you meet in person, you’re just electronic pen pals.

You don’t love her, though, because you don’t know her yet. You haven’t so much as split an ice cream sundae at this point.

I understand you mean well, but trust me from my experiences I never felt love like this from anyone. how me and her interact, every single day. And there are a lot of things I cant say, but would me physically meet her change my feelings for her no.

And I have met girls both online and offline, she is different also my feelings for her are very strong. So I know you must talk from experience and you offer me advice and I appreciate that. However you don’t know what has happened in the past 2 months, and I believe God has given us this relationship. I also like to read this verse from time to time
