Isnt it just mortal when you start thinking of hurting the person?
Often those thoughts can be TEMPTATIONS.

The incident where you just walked away rather than engage in conflict shows you resisted TEMPTATION.

Thoughts become sins when we consciously keep them developing and entertain them. There is always a brief moment of reflection as to where we are headed in a particular situation. When that occurs PRIDE enters to reinforce negative thoughts.

Pray for humility and remember Jesus never protested with a single word when he was mocked, spat upon and kicked and beaten. All we need to do is control the next step.

Now im worried again me and my brother had an argument and he said oh what do you think you are mr perfect to me i replied i think im better then you is this pride?
TO be real i dont think i meant it it was just i got angry he said that to me but i dont think im better then my brother.

I think that when a person first realizes the need for God, one’s own sinful nature and the need to confess one’s sins to make it right with God again, there is a tendency to fall into scrupulosity. This can be as bad a disorder for the soul as not confessing at all.

From the 10 Commandments for the Scrupulous

mission.liguori.org/newsletters/scrupulosity.htm
  1. You shall not consider yourself guilty of bad thoughts, desires, or feelings, unless you can honestly swear before the all-truthful God that you remember clearly and certainly consenting to them.
Because we simply do not have absolute control over our interior faculties, the emphasis of the commandment is on clear and certain consent. Only a free consent, that is clear and certain, constitutes a sin. You can not accidentally or involuntarily be guilty of sin.

you are having growing pains both mental and physical. it’s not any worse than that. soon, you will pause a second or two before you respond. you are on the right path.

Like when is pride a sin.
Would it be sinful to say something like what i did but not think it for real?
Or is it prideful when someone at school picks on another person consistantly and just threatens them if they say?
Which of these situations are pride?

Pride is the absence of humility.

Pride is when we refuse to recognize our own errors.

As for saying things like you did but do not really mean it is a part of growing up. The best part of that is you are recognizing your uncharitable speech…it is not really pride it is more like “getting even.” It is a kind of statement that you want respect.

But that is a start. If you want respect then you will learn to respect others and pride is NOT in that situation.

I dont really know exactly what pride is what does a pridefull person do i know people ussually call them full of them selves.
Like i dont mock people I used to at school for a bit this was a few years back and last week when i went to confession i said i had pride.
But like can you explain to me exactly what a pridefull type of person is?
I know i dont think others are below me and i think well at least i think i do that every one is even.
TO tell you the truth i have more respect for the little kids starving in africa which makes me really sad then an office worker i never say anything to them or anything i just get a stronger feeling when i look at a starving 5 year old and has nothing lately i have thought look how many things i have and i used to complain that kid has nothing likely not even his mum or dad and i winge.
I also dont treat any people differently whatever country he be from or religion my friends at school come from all different countries; Irish;Australian,Indian,Lebonese and i think they are all the same good guys.
I also think that school cleaners etc are as equal as any other worker and i never ever walk of when one of them come by nor do i mock or say anything about them.
i never brag about anything i used to say stuff like “Ill smash you in gran turismo 4” when someone says something like ha i smashed you but since i went to confession i havent said this.
Also if like today on a couple of occasions at school someone with me has said something stupid about some others and i laughed about it but i didnt say anything about them it was just funny what they said is this pride or anything?
The guy told me about how years ago this teacher got a bannana shoved in his Motorbikes exauhst and didnt know it was there and the mechanic was about to rip him off until he saw it was shoved in and the other guy said what a wierd bastard i just laughed but didnt say anything was there anything wrong in this Pride?

Just about all of the scenes you mentioned really do not involve pride. Most of you reactions to things like laughing are just reflex and do not include pause for thought. Recognizing some of this is a sign that you want to improve your “inner self.” Now, that pleases God.

Most of all this is “growing pains” and we all have gone through these phases when we were young too.

Pride is not real…it is always false. Ever heart the term “False Pride?” It means that Pride is never an accurate assessment of a person’s high estimation of himself. Pride masks over our imperfections…it is blind to them. You are trying to see all of your imperfections…and that is a very, very good thing.

This might help you out. From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

"2302 By recalling the commandment, "You shall not kill,"93 our Lord asked for peace of heart and denounced murderous anger and hatred as immoral.

Anger is a desire for revenge. “To desire vengeance in order to do evil to someone who should be punished is illicit,” but it is praiseworthy to impose restitution "to correct vices and maintain justice."94 If anger reaches the point of a deliberate desire to kill or seriously wound a neighbor, it is gravely against charity; it is a mortal sin. The Lord says, "Everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment.“95”

Just some things that happend today.
We were playing soccer and i didnt stop the ball and this guy called me a retard i responded You are.??
This person through a football at me just to act smart or something and i did get angry but i didnt respond or anything i just felt bad not like i wanted to kill him just annoyed that he did it i think if hed kept doing it i would have starting thinking of hitting him but it was once but it was more like the feeling why is he doing this why cant he just leave me alone type of thought the other guy got hit 3 times he kicked the ball and stood up to the guy who when he stood up just walked off this is what i hate they annoy you just to get you to a point where you walk up to them but then just act like nothing and walk off i dont see the point of it im just happy that i didnt get that angry to start thinking of hitting him?
Another thing is we were saying stuff and this guy said i play video games for 4 hours a week, i said farout i play that much a day.
we were also saying something about soccer balls i said something stupid that Mitre balls are better then Adidas ones LOL! and people said no way and i responded with its cause adidas is german which is the country i was born in.
And about lying lying is a sin but how big like is it a veinal sin if like what i did told someone i had a dog which i dont, but how can this hurt someone?
And lazinnes is a mortal sin but when?
If i were to be too lazy not bothered after a shower to blow dry my hair instead just use the towel and leave it damp because i was too lazy is this veinal or mortal or is it just mortal if you were like for eg too lazy to pray and go to church or help others out when they need it and you can do it?
And pride.
Is pride how you feel about yourself like a person who is not shamed of anything like i know I am really affraid when i go up for a speech i just keep thinking of people teasing me and saying stuff and about what i wrote but there are some guys who just walk up there and do it like nothing and act like its nothing.
Is it more about what you think of yourself against others like when the cleaner comes to pick something up etc you mock them because they are a cleaner and is it like when someone keeps acating like they know it all?
Or because they have a job and you dont?
Is it ok to joke around and say things like i will smash you in that game etc?

You will eventually learn the difference between friendy “hyperbole” like “I will smash you” in a game contest. This is the parlance that is used in your sphere of friends. It’s no sin. It does NOT come from the heart.

It’s not easy…and it does take time to sort out attitudes and it is part of development.

Oh, and I almost forgot, please go to Mass.Jesus would like to see you there. It would make Him very happy. Why dont you go?
. . . and confess that you have been missing Mass. The OP has reached the age of accountability and unless there are extreme circumstances preventing it, she must attend Mass on Sundays (or the vigil on Saturday evening).
