Hide and seek in John

I have noticed a pattern throughout the scriptures which I call the Torah:Word of God. It is the full revelation of God as revealed in words, works and life, which is paralleled by our response by hearing, seeing and walking.

If I simply share my observations it would make for a lengthy book and you would be bored and not likely benefit from the delight of discovery.

So rather than just “show off” I wonder if anyone wold like to play a hide and seek game.

The pattern by itself is an interesting phenomenon. It is not accidental. The pattern as used by John points to a deeper understanding of walking with God. And this is the prize for the game.

I hope enough people play so we can get to the prize.

The challenge it to find the word, works and life pattern in blocks so that we can compare the narratives of the blocks of scripture.

The first set is found in John 1:1-4.

You don’t have to wait for hints to find the rest.

And bonus points are given if you find them in other scriptures.

I would want to know more about you first so I can get a feel for your motive in opening this thread.
I’m Catholic which is Christian. Which non- Catholic Christian Church do you belong to? Are you by any chance a sola scriptura proponent?

When I got saved there was no one there, and I have no family tradition. You might say I am sola scriptura by default, but I am only a proponent of Christ and him crucified.

I studied with a rabbi briefly and accidentally picked up on his midrash techniques. By applying them to the New Testament, which he refused to do, shadows of Christ have been popping out everywhere, in up to four layers. I have been looking for people who are conversant with the four layers of interpretation within Catholicism, and Eastern orthodoxy, since non-catholic churches have no experience with them.

The motivation for this game is exactly as I said. I share what I know about Christ, and since this is a bit new, I would like to have (name removed by moderator)ut from others about it. I am happy to discuss it in detail as I have in other threads, but this is an easy way to correlate scripture and see if you come up with the same stuff I did.
