High school boy with "brain mass"

Please pray for Stephen, a teenager undergoing brain surgery today after a mass was discovered last Friday. He suffered an injury during a football game, and somehow that led to the discovery of the mass. Understandably, his friends and family are very worried. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Not much of an update, but Stephen came the surgery well and is recovering well. The mass is being referred to as a “tumor” and we are waiting to hear whether it is benign or malignant. Thank you for your prayers.

Blessed Savior, I thank you that this operation is safely past, and now Stephen rests in your abiding presence, relaxing every tension, releasing every care and anxiety, receiving more and more of your healing life into every part of his being. In moments of pain, let him turn to you for strength, in times of loneliness, let him feel your loving nearness. Grant that your life and love and joy may flow through him for the healing of others in your name. Amen.

GREAT NEWS!!

“Here is the latest on Stephen. The surgery went well. The Doctors were able to remove the entire tumor. Pathology results came back and it was benign!!! He went home on Friday and will be home from school for about a month. Rehab will be a little slow That’s OKAY! He is on his way to recovery. Mom and dad will take time off from work to be with him.
I appreciate all the support and prayers and so do Steven’s family and friends. Steven too!!!

I am so happy for Stephen and his parents. What a rollercoaster this must have been for them! Fantastic, wonderful news.
