Hilton Hotels and Planned Parenthood

I’m considering Hilton Hotels for a private event, but was told last week that they donate to Planned Parenthood. I want to know if this is true and see some info about what they are donating.

I contacted the fightpp.org site, who have a pro-life boycott list. They informed me that indeed, Hilton is on their list. I’m trying to contact them again to find out why, but since I’m pressed for time I’m reaching out here as well.

The reason I’m searching into why they’re on the list is that previous discussions I’ve read about fightpp.org seem to have people torn. Some are maybe not in agreement with their policies or skeptical of their reasonings. For example, it could be that Hilton is on their list because they do employee donation matching. This is certainly different than donating directly to PP.

Any info appreciated!
 
The Problem with the way corporations work is that it becomes very hard to know exactly who one is dealing with really.

Hilton Hotels has corporate ties with:
Conrad Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Hilton Grand Vacations and Waldorf Astoria Collection.

Also Corporate can choose which charities and non-profit organizations they will accept to match donations to.
It is interesting that they will trumpet some of the organizations they have the program in place with, but not for all of them.
Probably if one is an investor or an employee then one could find out more easily.
 
The Conrad Hilton Foundation, run by the Hilton family, made a $2.5 million donation to support the conference of American nuns who are opposed to the church, via the anti-Catholic National Catholic Reporter.
 
The way things are going, it might be easier to make a list of corporations that don’t give money to Planned Parenthood. 😦

This is just like what was prophesied in the Bible when it says:

“so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.” - Revelation 13:17

and

“For behold, the days are coming when they will say, `Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bore, and the breasts that never gave suck!’” - Luke 23:29

and

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people. For among them are those who make their way into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and swayed by various impulses, who will listen to anybody and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” - 2 Timothy 3:1-7
