By the way, any good priest would tell you to move out before a Catholic wedding anyway, in order to ensure a valid marriage. Cohabitation and your lack of financial independence might be grounds for annulment in the future because it would suggest that your choice was not freely made.
Another important goal for your fiance to work on would be to work toward having his daughters live with him on a permanent basis. 2-3 nights a week isn’t really full custody. If that’s the status quo, I can imagine that the grandparents might actually have a case for getting custody from him. I’m not sure how this works legally, but as they say, possession is 9/10 of the law, and the in-laws have possession.
