I would like to share this article that I read. I hope and pray that the children who are neither enrolled in Catholic schools or Religious Education programs at a parish are receiving sufficient catechesis at home.

Our Hispanic Catechesis programs are bursting at the seams.
Way more enrolled than Anglos. Way more.

Our only Catholic elementary school in town seems to have very heavy Hispanic enrollment. It’s also located in a Hispanic neighborhood, which probably helps a lot.

I think (aside from finances) that the location of infrastructure is important.

Another problem is that they are unfamiliar with the religious heterogeneity (and sometimes anti-Catholic sentiment) of US culture, and don’t understand the importance of parochial schools.
