Just enjoyed the Pius 12 “Under the Roman Sky” miniseries. Really enjoyed it, but have noticed a significant amount of negative complaints regarding it’s accuracy. I am just wondering what if any is the church’s official critique on this series. From what I have found on the internet, it appears that both sides, those in favor and against base their critiques on hearsay and don’t seem to quote verifiable sources. Any suggestions on reliable sources? I would love to defend the movie, but to do so, I would like to develop my opinion based on trustworthy sources. Thanks for any feedback.
