C’mon…

Every upright liberal Catholic thinker rightly knows thru their well formed and educated mind, that Matthew is simply Q, and that Mary Magdalene and Thomas were the ORIGINAL Gospel writers…its plain as day! Those Gospels are on the shelves at Borders…I seen em myself!

But yet the Orthodox continue in their foolish ways…

He…he…he… I used the words, “Upright”… “Liberal”…“Catholic” & “Thinker” in the same sentence… 😛

Here’s a paper which argues that Mary Magdalene wrote the fourth gospel and that she was in fact the beloved disciple mentioned in the fourth gospel.

I found the paper to be very interesting though I disagree with the author’s understanding of the inerrancy of the scriptures. The author seems to think that the inerrancy of the scriptures just means that the essential message of salvation is presented without error when in fact it means that everything asserted in the scriptures is without error.
I do have here the Gospel according to Mary Magdalene have you read it?

And don’t forget whatzername, the woman Pope - Joan I think it was:rolleyes:

There is no such Gospel. It’s just another book put out by the Gnostics.

Maybe it is time to start a thread on gnosticism

I think I’ve read parts of it. From what I understand the first few pages are missing.
