Historical proof

Please help me find links of reliable historical sources of different Christian groups, starting from the Catholic Church, with their respective founders.

Thanks in advance.

religion-cults.com/Christianity/Protestant/P-Denominations-1.htm#List%20of%20Protestant%20Denominations%20and%20Sects:

I googled “list of Protestant denominations” and this site came up. Unfortunately, I don’t know how reliable it is. But you should be able to check out their info in an encyclopedia or by doing further web searches on the various denomination names.

Jesus of course founded the Catholic Church, so it dates back to Him - and St. Peter whom He established as head of His Church.

There are now 25,000 to 30,000 Protestant denominations. I don’t think you’re going to find a list with all of them.

Thanks Nita.
