Some of you may remember a previous thread in this Forum about Spiritual Adoption of Unborn Babies. I have done so, even if I am not sure my prayers are working, seeing as I am an RCIA Candidate, not confirmed, nor having done a proper confession, with quite a bit of mortal sin to be confessed and forgiven. And hoping I don’t die before Easter

Well, I work at the Post Office, and sometimes letters get torn by the machines and the contents wind up on the floor. Like this prayer card right in front of me when I knelt down to fix a problem. OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE on the front. The writing on the back concerned spiritual adoption of the unborn, complete with the prayer and a request to say it for one full year.

Which I suppose addresses my qualms

Your prayers are just as valid as the pope’s! Being that you are in RCIA and intend being confirmed Easter Vigil, you are doing all that is expected of you. If you should die you would be all right because God is pleased by your intentions and your obedience to the Church. 🙂

If you feel moved to do this devotion, then by all means do it. Have no qualms. How could God not listen to anyone who desires life for his little ones? You’re doing just fine. I only wish more people had your zeal! 👍

Kinda gives me chills… very cool story!
God’s apparently listening to your prayers pretty closely! 😉
