One parish by my office prays the Liturgy of the Hours (Evening Prayer) right before a 5:15 PM daily mass.It doesn’t seem to matter to people though since when the bishop said it and when my pastor said it nothing actually changed.
What I find is funny is noticing that only one person prays the Our Father with his hands outstretched out during the Liturgy of the Hours, but then many pray it during Mass with their hands outstretched.
Personally, if a person consistently prays the Our Father (inside and outside of mass) with the hands outstretched, then I’m fine with it. But if they only do it during Mass, then they really should not be.
God Bless
