Holiday abortion debate with atheist in-laws

All I was saying is that most of the people that support the outlawing all forms of abortion, even those required to save the mothers life, are the same people that support the war in Iraq even if it means 100,000 soldiers, insurgents, civilians, ect have to die.

And to me, that doesn’t seem right.

One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. And with all due repspect, as one who has worked in the pro-life ministry for the past 20 years including over 5 years as a counselor at a CPC I can tell you your basic premise(regarding whar pro-lifers support ) is wrong to beign with.

If you oppose the Iraq war thats fine. But please dont use that opposition to attack those who are working day and night to try and eliminate abortion in this country. We deserve better.

I strongly support the war-i thik it is a noble cause-my only regret is we waited so ling to it. Howevr it has NOTHING to do with opposing Abrotion-nothing.

How many burns would you sustain to save some kids in Iraq? What if you know the kid was a gay athiest, would you still risk your life to save him? Somthing tells me you’d think twice.

Ask the same question where you know if you save the child you’d die. 98% chance of death is still some chance that you’d live right? If you go for it, you’ll prove Darwin right about survival of the fittest.

Survival of the fittest? Apparently your definition is skewed from others as to what being fit means.
