This may be old news, forgive me if it is. Holy Cross in Worcester, MA is using it’s website to promote a gay lifestyle and culture, as well as porn. The website has it’s own gay and lesbian area (they have a large amount of gay and lesbian links on their site). It has been noted that their are little to no links representing true Catholic teaching on the subject. The links below all come from the Holy Cross website (please note the links are NOT suitable for children):

comingoutstories.com/

I 'm not familiar with Holy Cross, are they a Catholic College?

I didn’t see anything that said this site was Catholic (but I may have missed it), except for the Dignity link. I decided to look at that site just to get an idea of what the other side is saying, and I didn’t find much objectional UNTIL I got to the “Statement of Position & Purpose”, which states that “We believe that we can express our sexuality physically, in a unitive manner that is loving, life-giving, and life-affirming” I’m not sure how homosexual sexual activies can be live-giving?? Not physically possible as far as I know, except for maybe transgender.

I do think that is it horribly wrong to discriminate against homosexuals or treat them badly because they are homosexual. They deserve love & respect as all God’s children do. However if they chose to engage in physicall relations with members of their same sex, that is a sin, and against nature. They themselves are not bad, it is their choice to act in a sinfull manner that is bad.

I have as much dislike for people who flaunt adultry as for people that flaunt homosexual sexual activity.

This is my humble opinion, but one that I know is shared by many.

Holy Cross is a prestigious New England “Catholic” college run by the same dandy folks as Notre Dame.

This seems to be a trend with New England Catholic colleges. My own college that I’ll be attending, St. Michael’s can boast the exact same LGBT related things as Holy Cross…

Perhaps the above title is incorrect. I have checked the links and find that the pornography is heterosexual and homosexual. In either case, it is in very poor taste and a degradation of human sexuality. What students wish to view is their own business, and I doubt censorship will change their tastes or elevate their standards. However, what I do find shocking is that this sort of thing should be available on the website of a university, Catholic, Protestant, or what have you. It would raise questions about the faculty for me.
