Not a bad idea. But the purificators are washed in our parish by the Altar Guild. OTOH, no EEMs.

Yeah. There’s stuff that’s annoying on this side of the river. That’s for sure.

I can take you to Anglican churches here in Greater Vancouver where the Rector would agree with you 100%. And, I can take you to places where the Rector will give you a very rough ride for even using the term"real presence".

They are all over the map, and there’s more of these clergymen than there is of you, so I’m sticking with with “all over the map.” It’s not an opinion; it’s an observation.

Blessings,

Gerry
Well, it would only be fair to allow me to use your same reasoning here and say the same exact thing about the Roman Catholic church. I went to church (Catholic) years ago with many folks who could not agree at all on the Eucharist, birth control, the Marian dogmas and even gay marriage. The Catholic doctrine as well as the Anglican doctrine is very clear on its beliefs. This obviously is no kind of a lock on what its faithful truly believe.

True enough, although is there a larger faction of Anglican clergy willing to voice disagreement or is it much like us, the problem is with those in the pew

The members of course. The churches both have sound doctrine but the truth of the matter is that whether you are Catholic, Anglican, Orthodox or whatever; there are going to be those who have different beliefs from what the doctrines say.
