Hi all. I have just learned about this devotional this morning. Does any one else do this devotional at your parish. I am at a small parish in MS and would love to hear from others that may do this at their parishes. Thanks!

What a coincidence! I just got a prayer card included in a mailing today. I had never heard of this either.

It’s a lovely devotion, but purely personal as far as I know.
I’ve never been in a parish that did anything in particular beyond distributing the prayer cards for personal devotion. Beautiful prayers though. 🙂

Actually, Leslie, it began as a Confraternity in Europe but Pope Leo raised it to the dignity of a ArchConfraternity. Here in this country, there is a Confraternity and several websites that you can go to read up on it. I love the websites as this is one of my favorite devotions.

Here on Catholic Answers Forums I came across a group about the Holy Face, it is called “The Golden Arrow,” after one of the prayers given to Sr. Mary of St. Peter by Jesus. It was inactive when I found it but I post on it anyway and there is a good bit of information there if you would like to take a look. Oh, and I love the Chaplet which I have posted on the wall messages!

**Oh, and Leslie, I live in Mississippi too! Feel free to PM me if you would like to.

Jesus did tell the nun he gave this devotion to that he wanted it to be a Public devotion if it all possible.
To be said in church on sunday and on tuesdays.

Brilliant devotion!

LOVE the Holy Face devotion

Jesus asked that people says at least the Golden Arrow prayer, Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be daily (outside of Sundays and Tuesdays where He asked for all the prayers to be said in church if possible, or before an image of His Holy Face).

Beautiful promises attached to this devotion

Approved by Popes.

The Little Flower was devoted to the Holy Face and said it was the source of all her sanctity

Thanks for all the (name removed by moderator)ut! I did go to www.holyface.com to get information and have requested some on starting a Church Program for my parish. According to this site, they will send an illuminated or non-illuminated framed icon to be displayed in the church as well as the prayer cards and leaflets. I researched it yesterday and am very moved by it so I will let you know if I am successful in getting this started here.

Again thanks for the (name removed by moderator)ut.

What is that?
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

Thank you. I have never heard that prayer before.

Its private revelation set of prayers approved by the Popes that Jesus has asked to be said in reparation for communism, blasphemy, cursing, aetheism, misuse of God’s Name, and misuse of Holy Days and Sunday. There are 7 promises attached by Jesus for those who say those prayers and obtain graces for the world against these vices.

Please see the websites posted in this thread, and print off the Holy Face prayers to say on Sundays and Tuesdays, (with the small golden arrow prayer being said each day).

Everyone;
There’s a Holy Face medal with the devotion, that Jesus ordered to be made,
Order a little bag of these, or just one for yourself and wear it with your miraculous medal on your brown scapular.

Jesus asked if we hear a curse to pray, “May the Holy Name of God blessed. Begone satan.”
Thank you. I have never heard that prayer before.
