Just a quick question…I have been scouting out traditional churches (as in non-modern Brady Bunch architecture) and came across this parish. On their website they make absolutely no mention of being Roman Catholic. In fact, their description listed is very suspicious, very ecumenical…
We welcome all new parishioners and are thankful God has sent you to us
No matter what your present status is in the Catholic Church,
No matter what your current family or marital situation,
No matter what your past or present religious affiliation,
No matter your personal history, age, background, race, etc.
No matter what your own self-image or esteem.
You are invited, welcomed, accepted, loved and respected at
Holy Family Catholic Community.
However, they are listed on the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ website. Am I the only one put off by this?
Anyway…can anyone suggest some non-modern architecture churches in Los Angeles/Orange County area? I am very aware of St Peter & St Paul in Wilmington. Gorgeous church; as is St. Anthony’s in Long Beach.
Thanks
