If this is the Trident Mass* (Not sure if that is the proper spelling for the Latin High Mass) *it’s the proper way or only way to receive. Since the video only shows the dissemination of the host I’m not sure if this is a Modern Mass or the Trident Mass.

It is good to see the reverence for the Body of our Lord !!!

To my knowledge the Holy Father has not celebrated in the Tridentine Rite since his elevation. I am sure that if he was to celebrate the Old Mass in such a manner at St. Peter’s on his feast day, it would have been announced and there would have been celebrations from those on this board.

Because of that the Holy Father is more than likely celebrating under the new rite.

Hoping for a TLM from the Holy Father in St Peters soon though,
