I have been looking into this and although there is much on the internet, it’s difficult to sort through it all. Could I get both a Catholic and Orthodox position on the miracle of the Holy Fire which occurs every year on Easter Saturday(Orthodox) in the Sepulchre, or Resurrection Church in Jerusalem? When comparing the Orthodox and Catholic religions, this is the clearest piece of evidence which seems to point towards the Orthodox Church as the true church (everything else is “semantics”😉 ) I have yet to find out what the Catholic position is on this (i.e. on holyfire.org/eng/ it says that when “Roman” priests tried to recieve the fire, it didn’t work). Comments appreciated!

The Armenians tried too, and the Armenians I spoke to in Jerusalem admitted that they could not. (I still consider the Armenians part of us).

Btw, numerous Muslim sources mention the fire and are fascinated by it.

I find it fascinating and as soon as i can, i will go there. People are divided, God is not and we are all Christ’s and the signs He gives in the Orthodox Church or Catholic Church are signs to His glory, not our.
