Friends,
This might seem like a silly question but I need some advice. I am wearing a long chain with 4 medals on it and another chain with the medal of our lady of Guadalupe b/c it is her feast month.
Anyway, I wanted to know how or if I should wear a locket on the same chain I wear my medals on or not.
My husband gave me this silver locket over a year ago with a picture of my son.
It is very precious to me but I don’t like not wearing my medals.
Help please.🤷
Blessings,
Eli

Hi Eli 👋 To the best of my knowledge… I think it would be ok for both the medal and the locket to be on the same chain. It’s just a locket, with a photo of your son. Probably ok. It’s not like, putting it with costume jewelry, or something along those lines. 🤷

My Scapular has both a Crucifix and a St. Benedict Medal attached to it. So, it’s like “3” things, on one cord.

I don’t know if this answers your question. I hope that someone with more knowledge will reply. God bless.

Marie Veronica,
Hi. I noticed you are a native of Los Angeles. I was born there but moved to Texas. It is nice to meet you and thanks for the advice.🙂

Wow! Yes, nice to meet a fellow “Angelino”! I was born at a hospital in the heart of downtown, L.A. Grew up in the South Bay (Torrance). Now live in Southeastern U.S.

I wish I had better advice about the medal/locket. Hope someone will know for sure. God bless.

You could wear a double chain of two different lengths. That is what I do and it works out just fine. I don’t know what type of metal your chain is that you use for your locket but if you can find one similar one then you can use it for your medal.

In case you need a more visual example, here is a pic of what I am talking about.

Peace.
