Holy Mother Bracelet-- Two Infants?

I purchased a bracelet that shows different famous paintings of the Holy Mother, most of them with Baby Jesus. In two of the pictures, however, there are actually two infants. I tried doing a search to get some info on this, and came up empty. I was thinking perhaps St. John the Baptist, but he would be several months older than Baby Jesus, and the infants in the pictures seem to be close to the same age/size.

Does anyone have any info on this?

My guess would still be John the Baptist. Some artists are better than others at depicting the age of infants.

Some clues in art that show the infant John would be a “diaper” of brown camel’s hair (ref. Matthew 3:4, Mark 1:6), rather than white cloth; and a little sign with the Latin words “ecce agnus dei” (“behold the Lamb of God,” ref. John 1:29). But I admit that these details would be rather difficult to see on a picture the size of a bracelet link!

I know there are several famous paintings that do show Mary with the infant John the Baptist as well as the Infant Jesus - this would be my guess.

I have an embroidery [which my mother did when I was 4 or 5] of the “Barrelhead” Madonna [so-called because the original was painted on the head of barrel]. It shows Mary holding the infant Jesus and John as a toddler.

Note that they were only 6 months apart in age.

Another possibility… could the other infant be a cherub? Sometimes, Our Lady is depicted, holding the Infant Jesus… with little cherubs around.:angel1:

6 months actually. And yes it is St. John the Baptist. One child is depicted in Mary’s arms or cradled and the other is depicted as standing. Yes?
The artist rendition may depict both infants somewhat closer in appearance of age but it is the Baptist and Jesus.
